Last month, the Broadway Entertainment Association formed to make the voices of honky-tonk owners heard. Spokesperson Rob Mortensen outlines the goals of the group, “I think that if it becomes New Orleans, that is our fear, that we’re the Vegas of the South. We don’t want to be the Vegas of the South, we want to be Nashville,” Mortensen said.
