This is already a frenetic window for the city. Next month is when Mayor John Cooper will issue his budget proposal for the city’s 2023-24 fiscal year. Among other legislation now pending at Metro Council is the finalized deal between Cooper and the Tennessee Titans to build a $2.1 billion domed stadium to replace the existing Nissan Stadium.
